Creative Writing

I want to major in either English Literature, Creative Writing or English with a minor/concentration in Creative Writing.

I have a BA in English and am thinking of going back to school for an MFA in Creative Writing or an MA in English…I am interested in being a professional writer and possibly teaching at the college level. Any advice???

I have a B.S. in Writing and I’m someone’s assistant. =(
I’m considering Grad school, but worry that if I get an MFA or an MA in the same area I’ll be in the same boat, but two years older. Does anyone else feel this way?

How much reading do you do in a Creative Writing major?
Also what is the creative writing major like?
I can write stories, but I am not sure about poems.

I’m a junior in high school and, of course, I’m thinking about what I might major in. I definitely want to do something in English. I was thinking about creative writing, but I don’t want to get a degree in creative writing and end up not getting a job anywhere. Would I be able to get a job in journalism with a creative writing degree?
I know I could always fall back on teaching, but I really don’t want to.
Can I do double major in creative writing and journalism or creative writing and English? (If it depends on the college, I was looking at Macaulay’s Honors at Hunter, NYU, and Columbia)
