What college-university has a good creative writing program or focus on English?

I want to transfer to a college that focuses on English and have a good Creative Writing program. I want to major in creative writing but don’t know what college to transfer to.
Whats the best college to go to if you wish to do a dual degree in English and Creative Writing?

I wish to become a writer and am trying to figure out whats the best college to go to.
I live in Georgia, but I would prefer to go to a college somewhere else (perhaps New York). And for the most part, money is NOT a problem, so lets not worry about that.

I don’t mind pursuing a program that isn’t in the state of Florida as long as it is affordable. Accredited schools are important, too.
I am looking at MFA and MA English/Writing programs, any advice?

I have a BA in English and am thinking of going back to school for an MFA in Creative Writing or an MA in English…I am interested in being a professional writer and possibly teaching at the college level. Any advice???

I mean if I was the one graduating with the degree, how should I get started?
Can one earn a doctorate in creative writing, or is MFA the highest you can go?

I ask because I may be hired soon to teach basic composition at a public college. It seems only Ph.D.’s can teach literature, and I have an MA in English-Creative Writing. If I did want to teach literature as well as creative writing–and I’m not sure that I do want to teach literature–would I need a doctorate?
Is studying English literature with creative writing too much of a work load?

I’m thinking of doing a BA in English literature combined with Creative Writing, I’m just worried that studying one of them might be more than enough, so I’d like to ask those with experience for some help in making this decision. I love reading and I recently found a possible potential within me of being a writer.
A social science:psychology degree with a minor in English or Creative Writing?

I know there are some people who would say this is a ‘useless’ degree, but I disagree. I like that Social Science covers so much. I was thinking about either a concentration in psychology or a concentration in economics, though I am more interested in psych, and I’m not great at math, which might be a problem for the econ.
I might want to go into teaching, but maybe not.
Any opinions on this degree, what I would be able to do with it, and how difficult it would be?
