What kind of Job can an MFA in writing get me?
Can someone please tell me what is an MFA in writing ? Is it a degree? I have a Major in English literature from my country but i want to do some writing course , not the college writing courses but something more which can get me a sponsorship for a job in US (i am presently on H4 visa here) . Can anyone please tell me about some courses suitable to get writing jobs at universities or companies. Thanks.
What would be a good college where I can major in creative writing?
I’m in high school and starting next year I will have to start looking at colleges. I know I want to find a college just for creative writing. I love writing stories of all sorts, and I know of a couple colleges that specialize in creative writing. But where would you recommend? Remember, I’m talking about creative writing, not journalism. I am a high school student thinking of becoming a writer. Also, I’m assuming that publishing novels and writing articles in magazines would help. Is this a big factor? Anything will help, thanks for your time.
