Please no schools where I have to attend classes on campus at any time. Online only.
What Canadian Universities have good creative writing programs?
I’m looking into applying for a creative writting program when I graduate from highschool next year. I’d like it offer at least a BA. I know UBC has a good program (they actually offer a master’s degree in it) as well as York. I was wondering if anyone else has some suggestions for universities with good creative writing programs. It’d be awesome if you do!
Is studying English literature with creative writing too much of a work load?
I’m thinking of doing a BA in English literature combined with Creative Writing, I’m just worried that studying one of them might be more than enough, so I’d like to ask those with experience for some help in making this decision. I love reading and I recently found a possible potential within me of being a writer.
Would you recommend a BA or a BFA in creative writing for a student wanting to teach?
I ultimately want to be a writer so I am going to get a degree in creative writing, but I want to be a teacher until I earn any real money as a writer… do you recommend getting a BA or a BFA? I dont know if this matters or not for your answers… but I also plan on getting my MFA after I graduate
MFA/ PHD in Creative Writing?
Has anyone does this, or in the process of it? How long does it take? I was looking at SF state which considers the MFA to be a terminal degree.
Did you get your masters degree first, or just go right into the program with your BA? What do you plan on doing after you graduate or if you have earned your PHD in Creative Writing, what do you do?
