I’m trying to make an online community for my regional creative writing group, but can’t find a good platform?
i need a comprehensive forum with editable mod, admin, and additional user groups, as well as the ability to layer categories, boards, and threads.
I’d also like to get a platform with additional features such as a blog, guestbook, photogallery, rules, etc. But i understand getting everything i want is unlikely and just wishful thinking. I’ve done a lot of research, and we have bounced about a few sites that never really worked for us, and we’re at a dead end, so any help is appreciated. Hopefully we’ll be able to get all the additional features in the world in addition, and obviously it being free would be nice but i expect neither and would be fine with just a few of the additional features or even none of them if the form is really extraordinary. I also realize i will probably end up paying either a one off, or a subscription cost, but that is no problem either.
