Creative Writing

I’m considering Columbia College for an undergraduate school, and major in creative writing, and then go on to Columbia University’s journalism school, and study for a Masters in magazine journalism.

Is that possible ?

how could this be beneficial to my career as a writer aside from having the concentration in the literature and writing?

I’m currently at a liberal arts school in Ohio. My problem is, I don’t care about anything but writing (fiction, poetry.) What are some of the best creative writing schools to look at with minimal other requirements? Math and science classes and things of that nature just frustrate me. Where can I focus on the writing?

I want to transfer to a college that focuses on English and have a good Creative Writing program. I want to major in creative writing but don’t know what college to transfer to.

Technically, it’ll be a BFA in Fiction Writing; I will list it as Creative Writing on my resume. What kinds of jobs should I look for? Not a great editor of other people’s work.

I have never written a commentary before just wondering what you include in it and what other people have wrote in theres? Also some good ides for creative writing would be cool!

my dad and me were thinking about my college and to get a bachelor’s degree u have to spend two years to get a associate degree but i dont wanna spend 6 to 8 years in school. i was wondering if you can just go to a college for 4 years and get a degree thats bachelors and not go to associate for creative writing and is there anywhere good for creative writing near easton maryland or any city near easton?
